Hotel Indigo Antwerp launched in Belgium

Inter Continental Hotels Group opened its first Hotel Indigo hotel in Belgium: Hotel Indigo Antwerp – City Centre.
It is located in the heart of Antwerp and the diamond district and has 82 vibrant boutique guestrooms reflecting a small slice of the Flemish joie de vivre in their unique design.
There are touches of colour on the walls with a focus of botanical and insect motifs reflecting the surrounding bohemian neighbourhood and it is known as a global style hub since the 1980’s.
The entire area is built in contemporary architecture that intermingles with magnificent Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings.
Being the second largest city in Belgium, Antwerp boasts  of cobbled lanes of architecture from as early as the 13th century.
Hotel Indigo draws inspiration from the local neighbourhood be it  intriguing design or locally inspired menus.
Gaétan Demoor, general manager Hotel Indigo Antwerp – City Centre was delighted with the latest addition to the Hotel Indigo portfolio in Europe and to be the brand’s debut in Belgium.
He further mentioned that the city has so much to offer guests and the hotel is in the perfect location.
Currently  there are 24 Hotel Indigo properties open in Europe and  further 18 due to open within a span of three to five years.
