Franschhoek hotel gets a new look

The Protea Hotel by Marriott Franschhoek in the Western Cape is set to undergo an expansion and a major refurbishment in May.
The hotel will close for three months from May 25 to August 25, with some work commencing before the closure between 09h00 and 16h00, Monday to Friday.
The conference facilities will be transformed into 10 additional bedrooms, while the public areas and existing bedrooms will be refurbished.
A New York-styled steakhouse, Hussar Grill, will open at the hotel.
